MEET THE TEAM
Nigel is Managing Director of the company and responsible for the continued growth and success of the business and its subsidiaries. A serial entrepreneur Nigel has over 20 years experience running businesses and has been involved in eight startup companies in fields as diverse as Financial Services, IT Recruitment and Property.
Along with his two co-directors, he won the Wiltshire Business Entrepreneur of the year award in 2006 before achieving a sale of the entire business to a high street building society in 2007.
Nigel uses his entrepreneurial skills to source new development opportunities and enjoys nothing more than finding ways to make opportunities to work that others may have missed or solving construction issues as part of the team.
Wendy is the Director responsible for managing the design team, project evaluation, accounting and sales while also overseeing the groups short stay lettings arm.
Wendy’s previous career in the NHS as a Research and Development Manager involved developing the Research Governance Framework, managing research projects and competitive bids. The skills she developed transferred seamlessly across to Property Development, her attention to the details ensures tight management of projects and the business as a whole.
Wendy has a passion for nature and the environment and believes that the sustainability of the design for new homes is fundamental to the personal well being of the occupants.
Martin is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 50 years experience in the development industry, working with and within Central and Local Government.
For 17 years he headed a 200 strong team including Architects, Specialist Engineers and others delivering a £30m per annum programme building and maintaining dwellings, commercial property, roads and other civil infrastructure.
He was instrumental in the development of the High-Speed Rail Link (HS1) and Ashford International Station. Martin lead both the design and construction of the companies 27 villa holiday development in Bulgaria and guided this to successful completion despite the 2008 recession which caused others to fail.
Martin’s many years of engineering project management is used in assessing the feasibility, viability and risk assessment of new projects, and in monitoring procurement processes and program delivery. His no-nonsense approach to problem-solving and the ability to get straight to the root of a problem is invaluable in getting projects delivered on budget and on time.
His formal qualifications include BSc (Hon), CEng, MICE.
David is Partner of Adkins Consultants and a Chartered Building Engineer. With his specialist training and experience as a structural engineer, he and his team are typically involved in supervising structural design projects and checking and certifying designs for FAB-Group.
David’s considerable structural engineering experience includes the design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber structures as new build and renovation of old buildings. He also has extensive experience working on a number of listed building renovation projects.
David has experience includes developments within leisure, healthcare, education and residential sectors. David has experience in Quantity Surveying and Party Wall work.
David is a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors. Qualifications: BEng (Honours), BSc Civil Engineering, IEng, MIET, MIED, MCABE, MCIOB, MFPWS.
Don manages the Groups IT and is involved in the sourcing, assessment and analysis of new opportunities.
He implements the groups systems that are software-related ensuring everything runs smoothly.
